Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®)

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international organization that brings people together to find solutions which promote responsible stewardship of the world's forests.
Its product label allows consumers worldwide to recognize products that support the growth of responsible forest management worldwide. In Poland only about 70% of the yearly growth of the forests is being harvested. De facto, it means that Polish forests experience continuous growth. If all the world's forests were managed as well as those in Poland, to the FSC®(FSC-C011554) standards, wood production could increase by 40% without any decline in forest areas.
